I love my needle organization, however, it doesn’t work well when I’m out and about. A few years ago, Tom Bihn released knitting tool pouches.
Last weekend I was in Columbus, Ohio at the summer show for TNNA, The National NeedleArts Association where I was balancing helping Happy Fuzzy Yarn and working on projects both as PennyWise Consulting and little acorn creations. As has happened in the past, my flight home was cancelled so my week has been shifted all around, my schedule didn’t just go splat it tried to roll over and with a sore throat try to play dead. I’m catching up on everything and the cats are catching up on snuggles (more on that tomorrow).
These two wouldn’t let me out of their sight Monday night.
This past weekend I was at TNNA, The National NeedleArts Association Summer Trade Show in Indianapolis. It was an amazing show!
I was there to help my friend Riin of Happy Fuzzy Yarn in her booth.
I fell in love with a few of Riin’s 17 new colours, so I bought a package of three tranquil colours after the SampleIT event and then wound the yarn in my hotel room. Here is 435 yards of Corrie Sock (75% Superwash Corriedale wool/25% nylon) in new colour Tundra sleeping peacefully on my pillow (at least one of us had a full night’s sleep).
If your curious what this show is like and how it compares to a fiber festival, I suggest this post at Knitter’s Review. I am in awe of Clara’s ability to attend both shows!
