Triangle : the Fire that Changed America by David Von Drehle
[note needs editing]
started on 05.may … finished this morning … very interesting work which successfully fills many gaps left by classes i have taken, namely history of the city of new york. the author pieced together a fine work and i am impressed in his ability to gather the scattered data. i had never read much about the resulting trial… that was an eye opener. i also found fascinating the circumstances leading up to this. he painted a picture for the individual who is an ignoramus of early new york factory life of what went on there.
