- I hope you received the flu shot. Yes, my lay opinion is that it is still a good idea despite this year’s mutations. If it’s likely to reduce severity and lessen possibility of hospitalization it seems a good idea by me. If you’re out and about, it bears repeating: mask up if you don’t feel great (and try to limit going out) or are high risk (it sucks but since people are the worst, protect yourself!), cover a cough in your elbow, and wash your hands. ↩︎
