Most evenings Dot likes to lie on my blanket-covered lap while we watch TV.
Sometimes she stretches out as she did last night, and then we need to negotiate my use of a laptop. You can guess who prevailed! She will sit in front of the couch and yell at me with increasingly annoyed meows until I get into position for her to be on my lap. This is part of our routine, and she relaxes and melts further into my lap when I put away work.
