Wishes for a zissen Pesach (sweet Passover). !שבת שלום וחג שמח
Earlier today I steamed out the wrinkles of the matzoh cover I embroidered last minute many years ago when I discovered in-laws didn’t have anything (we’re married 20 years. This is v2 that was created during the pandemic and when the old matzoh cover didn’t move from Brooklyn with my in-laws this became the default. Many things for it that I wish I did differently, but embroidery is not my focus and I recall finishing it last minute.
My woven Tallis bag is in a plastic rain cover and ready for Shabbat and the first two days of Yom Tov. The masking tape shows the number of days, the hostages need to be freed now. There’s also a yellow ribbon pin, a zachor pin (remember), and this year’s Torah fund pin which reads: עם ישראל חי, The people of Israel live. My name is also embroidered but I chose the poor contrast thread so it’s hard to read. This also has many things for it that I wish I did differently, but it is v1 of my creating a Tallis bag.
