we work together

Dot can sometimes be a helpful assistant.

Like many cats, she makes sure I keep to schedules. With her guidance, it’s possible that regular writing will return here again.

On what I’ll write or why, I’m not sure. The world has changed quite a bit since I first began writing “here”, as have I. Among various responsibilities, I now maintain sites for several businesses, including PSG Studio and little acorn creations. Not to mention there’s more places available to share information, such as Ravelry. And there’s social media. I’m on Instagram more than I wish I was. I also have accounts at BlueSky and Mastodon too but honestly I’m trying to do less on social media and more on my own sites.

I’ve read quite a bit this year and have even managed to add most titles to Goodreads. There’s also been work with yarn, my notebook site needs a rethink but there’s some project information there.

Over the summer, I expanded my library with a physical set of Talmud. Sefaria is an amazing resource and my primary way to learn daf yomi for the first five years of my study. However, I prefer learning from paper, and I felt it was finally time to make that investment. As we are about to embark on learning Sanhedrin next week, perhaps I’ll begin to write about this adventure, probably not daily!
