snuggles and kisses
We discovered last week that I am not the only one in this family prone to ear infection. I feel guilty it took me over a week to realize that he was asking me to take him to the vet. He was very well behaved, our vet loves him and gushes over his relaxed demeanor even as she was poking around his ears. He doesn’t like the ear drops, cats don’t really like liquid in their ears, but he has tolerated them with minimal fuss twice a day this past week. One week to go until we go back and hope that we’ve cleared it all up. I’m thankful he still trusts us enough that he jumps into my arms for snuggles whenever he can. Though after we massage the drops in he asks to be let down so he can shake. Then he often tries to jump right back into my arms.
He’s a good kitty even if he destroys my trash bin on a daily basis. I know I should buy a new one, but good ones are expensive. I think that he knows I’m still learning his language and will do what I can to make sure he stays healthy and feels ok.
It’s really hard to take a photo of yourself holding a cat who wants to play with the strap or give kitten kisses while you are holding him.
