Our kitten, who is seven months, not five as I previously declared, allowed me to curl up with him and finish a few more books this weekend. I’m not sure who is purring more these days, him with all the attention we’ve been giving him, or me thrilled to have a cat in my home.
Oh, see what noun changed? Yes, a cat can do that instantaneously to your house too! Just visit your local humane society or animal shelter today and give someone a loving and cared for home. You can’t adopt? Please see if they need anything such as towels, newspapers, or other things (such as your time) to keep things running and help give animals love and care they deserve. I actually don’t advocate handknits, at least for cats. Though I think perhaps felted blankets and pads would be welcome. You don’t want claws stuck! (Ask me about the carpet lady’s cat story some day.)
However, it’s hard for me to type when I’d rather be giving someone scratches and receiving gifts of purr in return so here’s a list of what was completed and some day soon when he’s napping and I can tear myself away I’ll write more. Watch goodreads for the update as I don’t think I’ll add to this post, but due to the content of the majority of these books I expect you’ll find bits of what I’ve learned scattered throughout other future posts.
