falling behind and catching up

I can’t seem to get caught up on the things I need to. The apartment is trashed. I think there is a desk, dining table, and couch here. I’ll have to get back to you on that though. In any case, only one book was completely finished and available for today’s write up. There will hopefully be more next week; I’m reading, I’m writing, I’m trying to keep my head above water.

Not as perfect as Green Glass Sea so it gets 4½ stars. We watch Dewey and Suze grow closer and Dewey start on the path to the woman she will be. It’s a great coming-of-age story and I’m very happy Klages wrote it. I’d love to see a Dewey at 25 story… and have it come out the way I want (PhD, etc) … ;)

Are you reading anything interesting or have recently discovered a great new-to-you author where you have to read everything they have ever written?

  1. I bought Coraline over the weekend – I think I’ve discovered a new author (to me) –

  2. Mercedes Lackey, until I found some of her darker, co-authored stuff. And you just got me hooked on Ellen Klages – I requested Green Glass Sea & White Sands, Red Menace from the library after your other post.

I’m half way into WS, RM now, so it’s a good thing you don’t have any spoilers in your post :)
