painful
Suffice it to say that I finally went to the optometrist and am now impatiently awaiting new glasses so I can read and write without eye pain. I was silly to wait for so long. I should have gone eons ago for a different opinion because I did not agree at all with the practice style/manner of my previous optometrist. I was silly for not taking the time to understand my insurance offerings. I just purchased two pairs of glasses (with a few bells and whistles) for less than the pair I bought three years ago. It was the expense of the pair that currently is on my face which caused some of my delay.
One of the new pairs (the dedicated reading/writing/computer pair) should arrive this week. Please think good thoughts that this happens. Now that my eyes have seen how they should feel they are super cranky in anticipation.
Because of this posting will probably be quite short this week against my wishes. For today, I’ll just link to the covers of all the books I read this past week and full reviews will come in time. I just finished an audio book too and expect to consume several this week until the new glasses come in (it’s not listed here yet).

Hope your new specs are here pronto!
The bead knitting book looks intriguing–I may have to pick that up!

I hope your new glasses get their soon!
I just finished “It itches” this week too. I thought it was very cute and well done. What did you think of the Yarn Harlot’s new book? I have been debating about it because of the price.
