still cowled
I’m exhausted. The stressors of the past week are catching up on me. But! last week I finished another cowl. I picked up some new needles today (5.5mm and 6mm in 16″ circs) to finish the current cowl-on-the-needles. It’s not often that I venture past the 3mm needle size …

I held the yarn double and knit until I ran out. I actually had to use some of the plain taupe colour to finish my last three stitches of bind-off because I ran out of the multi-colour! I **LOVE** this Cowl. I was unsure as I really didn’t like the love-it colour on the ball. I wasn’t quite sure how it would play out. I love that the repeat is mirrored. My only complaint is that there isn’t enough purple. ;)
I’m slowly buying new plain shirts just so I can wear it more often. The compliments I receive on it have made me smile as well.
To those waiting for an email response: I slept 10 hours last night. I’m struggling to stay awake right now. The purchase of E’s business is a huge relief, but does not mean an end to the tale. He is keeping his options open but no longer has his back against the wall to make a decision.

YAY!!! I am beginning to get to rediscover this amazing thing we call ‘sleep’ myself.
I’m going to cast on for a cowl this weekend – maybe even this one. Not only am I in love with cowls now, but it can be my project for The Name of the Rose !

That cowl is so pretty! I really like how the different colors work together too!
