parshat behukotai v’lag b’omer!
This shabbat we read Parshat Behukotai, found in Vayikra (Leviticus) 26:3-27:34. The haftorah is Jeremiah 16:19-17:14.
It is also Lag b’Omer!
We’re also on the Fourth chapter of Pirkei Avot.
I’m once again catching up on Nach Yomi. More RSS feeds would help. I said I’d make a calendar a few months ago. I really hope to get to that soon. It would help. :)

I’m so glad I checked your site, Penny. As a modestly-educated Reform Jew, this is a wonderful resource for Jewish study! Now I have to figure out how to build all of the resources into my schedule, and how to make my son’s iPod work for me.
Shabbat shalom!

I know this is kind of an odd question, but I was wondering if you might have a link or something that would help explain the vocabulary used in these posts. And the… schedule, I guess? Of the readings? I’m not sure I’m making any sense. But I love learning about people’s beliefs and practices so I’d like to be able to understand these posts more fully. (And I know you’ve had a tough week, so really, don’t feel obligated to write out a big long answer to this or anything!)
Kat with a Ks last blog post..Not Wednesday. Randoms anyway.
