parshah ki tisa

This week it’s Ki Tisa, Sh’mot (Exodus) 30:11-34:35 (summary)

The most infamous nugget from this parshah is the sin of the golden calf. I really don’t have much more for you than that. It’s been a very long week for me; there is white stuff on the ground this morning and I’m trying to figure out how that influences what I need to do.

In nach news, I have finished all of Shmuel and am slowly plowing my way through Kings. I also listened to part of one of the podcast shirim produced for this yomi program. I enjoyed it greatly. Bli neder, I hope to catch up this weekend. It would be exciting for me to know that i was learning the same as many others that day. Additionally, I hope that by being “caught up” I will no longer rush through things and actually *learn* something. ;)
