parshat matot-masei
This week we read a double parshah.. Bamidbar (Numbers) 30:2-36:13. Go read it. I’ll wait.
Oh, back so soon? Go on, finish the whole thing. It’s really not that long….
Ok. It’s unrelated but please, read this.
Nechama is vexingly silent on the small bit I want to really learn.
read the first portion again please.
Ok. I’ll let you mull it over for a while. I have been for years. There’s a lot in there and I don’t feel I have the skills to begin.
Some links to d’vrei torah of interest (random ordering):

- vows and obligations (radical torah)
- a way yet to go (radical torah)
- oath of office (torah.org)
- jofa
That’s all I’ve got for now. Not the great post I was looking forward to..
Next week we start Devarim (Deuteronomy).

I agree that there is quite a bit to take in there regarding all of the listed links/articles. I’m speechless over much of the information, and I wish I had a profound wealth of information to share in regards to the articles. Nevertheless, even in just putting the information out there for everyone to read, I think you are doing a wonderful thing.
