parshah balak
mhwaufh. this is late. Today was one of those busy fridays. Yesterday was busy too. Something had to give and today it was learning over breakfast and writing up this post.
In good news, I launched my site (as imperfect as it is) and finished a bunch of odds and ends for various clients and friends. I started mysterystole 3 because I’m such a joiner, and from the first two charts it looks quite beautiful. Once I recharge the camera batteries I’ll post my half hour of break to flickr. I have to sew the buttons on the first bootee and knit the second one. I haven’t touched any other knitting yet.
Ok. Learning.. This week we read Parshah Balak, Bamidbar (Numbers) 22:2-25:9.
I’m not going to get a chance for more learning until shabbos starts so it’ll be link learning this week:
- Chabad’s portal to the parshah
- OU.org’s list of d’vrei torah
- JOFA’s list of d’vrei torah
- torah.org archive of d’vrei torah

Ack! I wanted to wish you a good Shabbos (and so I will), but I expect I’m late enough that you won’t see this until it’s over! *sigh* Eventually, I’ll remember in time.
I signed up for Mystery Stole too, but I’ll have to knit it vicariously through you. I’m not allowed to start any new projects right now until I finish something.
Is this the standard way to write this?: Columbia University, Barnard College in 2001. I would put “Columbia University’s Barnard College” Also, please be located in New York City. located New York City sounds funny.
Just the editor in me. Looks great otherwise!
