(recent reads) lyra’s oxford, disability, red mars, inkheart

A very productive reading-shabbos, if I may say so. I finished the following:

Lyra’s Oxford by Philip Pullman. A cute little book that isn’t what it seems at first glance. I loved the map of Oxford. :)

Disability by Cris Mazza. Not what it seemed from the blurb on the back. Was still interesting however.

Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson. This had been on my list for ages and ages and eons. It was a very fascinating read, all the science and technology sucked me in. Now to find Green and Blue. (I feel as if I’m collecting crayons).

Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. I picked this up at the library after a failed attempt to find Sword of Flame a while ago. It’s a very cute story and if it had been written down when I was younger I know I would have enjoyed it even more then.
