philip pullman in the new yorker
The current double issue of the New Yorker has a very fascinating article on Philip Pullman.
I greatly enjoyed his “His Dark Materials” trilogy which I read earlier this year.
I think he’s quite talented and I’m very happy to have crossed paths with his writing. He has hit many — possibly all — of the triggers to make a “once upon a time” quite enjoyable for me.
I’m currently reading Lyra’s Oxford and had to tear myself away from the central children’s room at the donnell library center this afternoon because it’s better than being a kid in a candy shop — lots of amazing and fun great books!
I’m pretty sure my daemon is vegetarian puma who runs linux on his laptop. ;)
