I Spy with my little eye…a Zojirushi Rice Cooker! I'm using ours right now to make rice for chicken fried rice for dinner tonight. I love the little melodies it plays, and G was quite emphatic in his research before buying it; looking for the right rice cooker (i.e. one that Japanese people use most). It pleases me very much.

Rescuee is probably my favorite Anne McCaffrey book. I stumbled across it in a school library, thought the same thing (McCaffrey? Romance?), then fell in love with the amazing story.
