knit: progress!

As my wonderful prof gave me permission to knit in class I did not wait to ask “are you sure”… I picked up sock and knit a heel flap. On the way home I turned the heel and started the gusset. It’s fuzzy, but here is proof:

I am just today starting the heel of E’s sock. Do we think I can finish before the 6th? I hope so. I need to kitchener the toe of the first one still. Then finish geeknoob’s knucks and then vow not to knit with solid black ever again.
