postal rate increase

Don’t forget that the postage rate is going up on the 8th. [link to usps]. While cleaning I found an “h” rate make up stamp from several years ago, hmm I wonder if I can still use it. I remember when I was little asking my mom if I could tape a quarter to the envelope… it seems now that could only work for a post card.
Of course the longer I wait to send those pesky wedding thank yous the more expensive it will be. Oy how I procrastinate! I’m embarassed.

My desk is still mostly clean. It’s currently cluttered with a phone and some newspapers, but those will go away as soon as I post this. A clean desktop and balance are my goals for this month. Thus far I’m not doing so well on the balance, but I’ll get there.
