A very enjoyable and nice afternoon read (it is only 512 pages). I had some very nice daydreams while reading.. (I’ll leave it at that for now)
It reminded me a good deal of Pattern Recognition which I read a while ago (apparently pre-blog).
One of these days I’ll type up my notes and thoughts.. It’s interesting how I cluster books, especially the ones I have going on my “being read” shelf.
It’s an interesting segue from Rand’s Atlas Shrugged to Stephenson’s Quicksilver which I will try to follow with Surowiecki’s The Wisdom of Crowds ;)
